Approximately 1 in 5 Americans is affected by a mental illness. This can occur in anyone, regardless of race, gender, age or socioeconomic status and affects mood, thinking and behavior. However, new and effective treatments are available for people with mental illness.
Texana’s mental health outpatient services are built on evidence-based interventions aimed at promoting recover and resilience. Services provided include assessment, treatment and supportive assistance to serious and persistent mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children and adolescents within Austin, Colorado, Fort Bend, Matagorda, Waller and Wharton counties.
Treatment is based in an outpatient setting with a goal of promoting stabilization and empowering individuals to increase their success in leading functional and productive lives within their communities, in the workplace, in the school, and in their homes. Texana Center is committed to providing charity care to persons who have healthcare needs and are uninsured, underinsured, or otherwise unable to pay, for medically necessary care based on their individual financial situation.
