H-E-B Grants $5,000 to Texana Café to Support those with Unique Needs
(FULSHEAR, TX.)–Texana Café is proud to provide meaningful employment to individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities while serving exceptional food to the community.
Our mission is to equip interns with the skills necessary to secure competitive employment within the community. The skills they develop—such as preparing and serving sandwiches, collaborating with coworkers, following supervisor instructions, managing time effectively, delivering excellent customer service, and advocating for themselves—greatly enhance their career readiness.
We are deeply thankful to H-E-B for their generosity and commitment to supporting teens and young adults in reaching their full potential. This donation will help make a lasting impact on the lives of many.
